State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan said on
Monday a team of Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) will arrive in Dhaka soon to share information over the recent bomb blast at Burdwan in West Bengal, reports UNB.
The state minister said this while talking to reporters at his office. Asaduzzaman said he talked to the Indian High Commissioner over the matter. "The NIA authorities have sent a letter to the Bangladesh Foreign Ministry in this regard."
He further said, "We've told them we'll provide all kinds of support relating to their investigation. We'll share our information related to the blast because both India and Bangladesh are against militancy and terrorism."
An explosion on October 2 at a Burdwan house killed two suspected militants-Shakil Ahmed and Sobhan Mandal-and left a person, Hasan Saheb, injured.
Asked when the NIA delegation will arrive, the junior minister said, "The government has given its clearance so they can arrive anytime. We haven't received any official letter in this connection yet but we hope we'll get it soon."
