A local activist of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Mostafa Ahmmad Shakil, was stabbed to death on Shaheed Shahidullah Kaiser Road in Feni town on Thursday night, said police, reports bdnews24.com.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Feni thana Rashed Khan Chowdhury said Shakil, who studied at local college, was an activist of the ruling party's student wing.

He said they suspect Shakil was killed out of an internal feud and they have detained two people in this connection.

"On Thursday night, attackers stabbed Shakil near Jahiria Mosque on the Shaheed Shahidullah Kaiser Road and fled the scene. Locals rushed him to Feni Sadar Hospital."

He succumbed to his injuries around 11:00 pm while being shifted to the Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said the police officer.
