Rescue operation continued at the gaslight factory in Kadamtali under Keraniganj off the capital on Sunday after a devastating fire broke out at the unit on Saturday, killing at least six persons and injuring many others. — FE Photo Two individuals, who were injured in a devastating fire at a gas lighter manufacturing factory in Keraniganj area, have received financial assistance of Tk 15,000 each from the Dhaka district administration, reports BSS.
The injured - Jisan and Asif Molla - are currently undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the city.
The assistance was handed over on Sunday by Keraniganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Omar Faruk at the hospital, following instructions from the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Rezaul Karim.
