Injured N\\\'ganj garment factory owner dies

Narayanganj, Mar 19 (UNB):  A garment factory owner who was beaten allegedly by his cousins 10 days ago died at a hospital in Dhaka Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Sujon Mir (25), the owner of 'Paragon Garments' at Deobhog Market in the city and son of late Abdul Khaleque of Deobhog Khanka Road area.

Victim's elder brother Ripon said Sujon had a conflict with their cousins Sohel, Masud, Jasim, Alamgir and Wasim over a family matter.

As a sequel to the enmity, the rivals beat Sujon on March 9 night, leaving him injured.

He was first rushed to a local hospital and then to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Later, he was shifted to Samorita Hospital in the capital where he succumbed to his injuries Wednesday noon.

Sub-inspector Arifur Jaman of Sadar Model Thana said a case was filed in this connection. "Action will be taken against the accused."
