Inu urges media to play role against falsehood

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu urged Saturday the media to play a courageous role against falsehood, half-truth and distortion, reports BSS.

"Media practises sometimes yellow journalism as well as disseminates balanced news. Even they (media) favour Razakars and autocrats by supporting the killing of Bangabandhu," Mr Inu made the appeal while speaking as the chief guest at a workshop on 'Government Public Relations and Mass Media' organised by Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) in collaboration with Press Information Department (PID) at PIB in the city with director general of PIB Shah Alamgir in the chair.
