Visiting Iranian parliamentary delegation chief Fatemah Rahbar urged the Islamic countries Thursday to unite on the Palestine issue, reports BSS.
She made the call at a press conference at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) media centre at the end of a five-day visit. She said the Western countries would have to break their silence over Israel's barbaric attacks on Gaza.
Fatemah Rahbar called upon Egypt to open its Rafa border to help the common people in Gaza to escape Israeli attacks.
The Palestinian people would have to come forward to change their lot, she said, adding that the enemies of Islam want to create rifts among the Islamic nations.
Asked about trial of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami leaders for crimes against humanity, she said there is no instance in Iran's foreign policy regarding interfering in internal affairs of another country.
