Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum (JAF), a pro-BNP lawyers' organisation, Saturday protested the remarks made by Awami League (AL) acting general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam on the release of BNP leaders, including its senior joint secretary general Tarique Rahman, reports UNB.brIn a statement, the JAF led by BNP Standing Committee member Khandaker Mahbub Uddin Ahmad condemned Syed Ashraful's remarks that the country is being made dysfunctional by releasing corrupt persons one after another.brThe JAF statement said since it was the jurisdiction of the court to grant bails to the accused in criminal cases, all parties, including AL, were getting the advantage.brIt said adverse remarks following the releases of Tarique and some other leaders on bail from higher courts were nothing but conspiracy to make the court dysfunctional.brThe task of establishing a democratic government will be impeded if chaos is created through confusing statements. The result of such action will not be good for anybody, the statement said.
