JAF to hold rally to protest govt action

Pro-BNP lawyers' outfit Jatiyatabadi Ainjibi Forum (JAF) will hold a protest rally in all bars across the country on November 1 to protest the government's actions, reports UNB.
JAF President Barrister Rafiqul Islam Mian announced this Thursday, while briefing journalists at the Supreme Court Bar hall room.
He said that they would hold lawyers' rally to protest the government's manifold actions.
The government actions include alleged interference and politicisation of the judiciary, repression on BNP leaders and workers by initiating cases and withdrawal of the notice asking BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to vacate her Dhaka Cantonment house.
Barrister Rafiqul Islam said as part of the programme, JAF centrally would hold lawyers' protest rally at the Supreme Court Bar at 1 pm Monday.
