Jahangir Mohammad Adel buried

Jahangir Mohammad Adel, a former MP of Jatiya Party (JP), was laid to rest at his family graveyard at Sobhanbagh in the city Friday, reports BSS.

The first namaz-e-janaza was held after Juma prayers at Tara Mosque at Armanitola in the city.

Opposition leader Rawshan Ershad's political secretary Golam Masih said, JP chairman and special envoy of the Prime Minister, Hussein Muhammad Ershad was present at the namaz-e-janaza with other JP leaders.

The second namaz-e-janaza was held at Sobhanbagh Mosque in Dhanmondi which was attended by the MP of Awami League Barrister Fazle Nur Taposh and other JP leaders.

The qulkhani will be held at the old town residence of late Adel Monday, said Golam Masih. JP leader Jahangir Mohammad Adel died on November 13.

He left behind five sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
