Jamaat leader held in Bogra

BOGRA, Aug 13 (UNB): Police in a drive arrested a local Jamaat-e-Islami leader from a madrasa in Shibganj upazila headquarters on Wednesday on sabotage charge.
The arrestee was identified as Rezaul Karim, secretary of Shibganj upazila Jamaat.
Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shibganj thana, said they conducted a raid at Abhirampur Madrasa around 12:00 pm and arrested him.
The arrestee was accused in six sabotage cases filed with the thana, added the OC.
