Jamaat leaders meet UK trade envoy

A six-member delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami, led by its Nayeb-e-Amir Professor Mujibur Rahman, held a courtesy meeting with United Kingdom's Trade Envoy to Bangladesh Baroness Rosie Winterton at the British High Commission in capital on Monday, reports BSS.

The meeting was conducted in a warm and cordial atmosphere, said Jamaat-e-

Islami central publicity department.

Jamaat delegation also include central executive council members Advocate Matiur Rahman Akand and Mobarok Hossain, central women's wing assistant secretary Saiyeda Rumman, Women wing's secretary for human resources, law, and human rights Advocate Sabikunnahar Munni and Dhaka South City assistant secretary Dr Shahana Parvin.

During the meeting, discussions included Bangladesh's current political situation and the upcoming national election.
