Jamaat man held over killing

SATHKHIRA, July 1 (UNB): Police arrested an activist of Jamaat-e-Islami on charges of murder and subversive activities from Kurikaunia village in Ashashuni upazila on Wednesday morning.
The arrestee was identified as Maulana Yeahia, a resident of the area.
Ajmal Huda, officer-in-charge (OC) of Ashashuni thana, said on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Yeahia in the morning.
