Jamaat submits reform opinions to commission

Bangladesh Jamaat-e Islami has submitted their opinions on the proposals of key reforms to the National Consensus Commission, reports BSS.
The present interim government has formed the seven-member National Consensus Commission headed by chief adviser Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus aiming to review and adopt the recommendations made by six key reform commissions.
A Jamaat-e-Islami delegation led by its secretary general and former lawmaker Professor Mia Golam Parwar submitted their opinions to vice president of the National Consensus Commission Professor Dr Ali Riaz at the commission's Sangsad Bhaban office in the city on Thursday. Jamaat-e-Islami assistant secretary general and former lawmaker Hamidur Rahman Azad, central executive council member and its central publicity and media cell secretary Advocate Matiur Rahman Akanda were, among others, present during this time.
