JASAS leader, two others sued in Habiganj

HABIGANJ, July 8 (UNB): A case was filed Sunday against a leader of Jatiyatabadi Sangskritk Sangathan (JASAS) and two others with the Magistrate's Court on charge of cheating.
Freedom fighter of Ajmiriganj Upazila Matiur Rahman filed the case against Mosharraf Ahmed Thakur, organising secretary of the central committee of JASAS, his younger brother Babul Thakur and local UP chairman Warishuddin Khan, also BNP general Secretary of Baniachang thana unit.
In his statement, Matiur alleged that during the tenure of previous alliance government, Mosharraf and his associates took Tk 60,000 from him for giving his son a job in Bangladesh Television but they did not give his son the job.
After accepting the case, the court asked the OC of Baniachang thana to investigate into the matter.
