JCD DU unit convener Md Rakibul Islam Rakib said, "There is a possibility of reopening schools and colleges on June 13 but what about the universities? If universities do not reopen immediately, we will go on action."

"Not even a single student of DU got affected with Yaba till 2006, but now this is available all over the country. What remains behind making it available", he asked.

He called upon the authorities to ensure a drug-free campus, conducive to congenial academic atmosphere.
