RAJSHAHI, June 29 (bdnews24.com): The police Thursday night arrested suspected JMB militant Jahangir Alam in Baghmara in Rajshahi.
Mirza Golam Sarwar, officer in charge (OC) of Bagmara police station, told the news agency that they arrested him late at night in Koalipara village under Bagmara Upazila.
He said Jahangir was absconding for a long time. Acting on a tip-off, the police raided his home and arrested him." Sarwar said there were several cases filed against Jahangir with Naldanga and Bagmara police stations of Natore. He was scheduled to be produced in court Friday noon, the OC added.
