Joy offers fateha at his father's grave

PIRGANJ (Rangpur), May 16 (UNB): Sajib Wazed Joy offered fateha at the mazar of his father, Dr MA Wazed Miah, at Fatehpur village Saturday and sought blessings of the Almighty Allah for the departed soul.
He also placed wreaths at the grave at about 11:10am.
Joy urged the local people to pray for his late father who died on May 9 at Square Hospital in Dhaka.
His uncle Maulana Abdul Khaleque Miah, received Joy when he reached there by road. Joy's cousins Shahadat Hossain Bakul and Tajimul Islam Shamim and Sayed Reza Shanto were present.
State Ministers Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Tanjim Ahmed Sohel Taj, Sheikh Helal MP, Whip Mirza Azam MP, Khaled Mahmud Chowdhury MP, Zahid Ahsan Russell MP, Tanvir Shakil Joy MP and Prime Minister's deputy press secretary Mahbubul Hoque Shakil accompanied Joy.
Joy also said Zohr prayers at the mosque nearby their house and attended a milad mahfil arranged seeking divine blessings for salvation of the departed soul of Dr MA Wazed Miah.
