The delegation of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence Ministry returned home Friday after ending its 14-day visit to the UN Peacekeeping Mission areas in Ivory Coast and Congo, reports UNB.
During the visit, the delegation, led by M Idris Ali MP, witnessed the operational and administrative duties of Bangladesh contingent deployed in the UN Peacekeeping Mission in Ivory Coast and Congo.
They also visited various military installations and called on high officials of the UN Peacekeeping operations and discussed bilateral issues.
