JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, Oct 26 (BSS) : A total 22 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit, were expelled for different terms and fined following a factional clash at the Maulana Bhasani Hall on August 20, 2014.
The decision came following a syndicate meeting on Saturday night at the registrar building with Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Farzana Islam in the chair.
Of the expelled students, five were expelled for lifetime, seven for two years, three for one year, two for six months and five for three months.
All of them are the residents of Mowlana Bhasani Hall.
