A Dhaka court on Sunday placed former senior secretary of Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Mohibul Haque and Bangladesh People's Party Chairman Babul Sardar Chakhari on a three-day remand each in a case lodged over the killing of Juba Dal leader Shamim, reports BSS.
Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ziadur Rahman passed the order.
Babul was arrested from the capital's Shahjahanpur area on November 19.
On that day, he was produced before the court and police pleaded to place him on a seven-day remand in the case.
Mohibul was arrested from Mohakhali DOHS area on November 20. He was produced before the court the next day with five-day police remand prayer.
The courts on both the cases deferred the hearing date as the main case documents haven't reached the courts by then.
