CHATTOGRAM, Aug 30 (BSS): Joint forces detained a Juba League leader and recovered a one shooter rifle from his possession in the Chowdhury Para area under Ward No 2 of Chandanaish Purasavha in the district.
On information, a team of the armed forces led by Captain Ibtisum Jawad Diyab detained local Juba League leader Mizan (30), son of Md Anowar Hossain of the same locality and seized a one shooter rifle from his possession on Saturday.
Chandanaish police said Mizan is an accused in 2 criminal cases and has a travel ban abroad.
