A Dhaka court on Sunday placed former president of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal Saiful Islam Nirob on three-day remand in a case lodged over alleged attack on police, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain passed the order as police produced Nirob before the court and pleaded to place him on five-day remand in the case filed under explosive substances act with Tejgaon Industrial Police Station.
Nirob was arrested in front of Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) on March 4 as he and his associates allegedly hurled brickbats and crude bombs on the law enforcers.
