Jubo League leader shot dead in Jashore

JASHORE, Oct 16 (UNB): A local leader of Jubo League was shot dead allegedly by miscreants at Pachakari village in Manirampur upazila of Jashore district on Monday.
The dead is Uday Shankar Biswas (42), convener of Nehalpur union unit of Jubo League and son of Ranjit Biswas.
Quoting family sources, Sheikh Maniruzzaman, officer-in-charge of Manirampur thana, said miscreants shot Uday when he was returning to his home from a local bazar around 7:30 am, leaving him injured.
