Jubo Mohila League holds rally for Mainul's punishment

Dhaka City South unit of Jubo Mohila League organised a rally in front of National Press Club in the city demanding exemplary punishment of Barrister Mainul Hosein for defaming journalist Masuda Bhatti in a television talk show, reports BSS.

Juba Mohila League general secretary Prof Apu Ukil addressed the rally as the chief guest with the organisation's President Nilufa Yeasmin in the chair.

AL leaders Adiba Anjum Mita, Parvin Khaiyer, Daijy Sarwar, Sharmin Jahan Mery, Advocate Khadiza and actress Anjana Sultana, among others, addressed the rally.

In the rally, the speakers expressed their satisfaction over the arrest of Barrister Mainul Hossain and demanded exemplary punishment of Mainul as no one can defame women in future.

Later, a broom procession was also brought out by them.
