The Ministry of Cultural Affairs will observe 'July 18 Private University Resistance Day' today (Friday) as part of the ongoing month-long July Commemoration Programme marking the anniversary of the historic July Uprising, reports BSS.
A cultural event featuring film screenings, performances of July songs and a drone show will be held at 06:00 pm at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater in the capital.
The programme will open with the national anthem. Several short films will be screened, including 'Heroes Without Capes: Private University in July', 'You Failed to Kill Abrar Fahad', 'July Woman' and 'July Birgatha', which depict the role and resistance of private university students during the uprising.
