N’GANJ, July 2 (UNB): A case was filed on Wednesday in connection with the death of six-year-old girl Riya Gope who was shot in the head by a stray bullet while playing on the roof of their home during the anti-discrimination student movement last year.
Abu Raihan, sub-inspector of Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station filed the case against 150-200 unidentified people, said Mohammad Nasir Ahmed, officer-in-charge of the police station.
Police filed the case as the family of Ria did not lodge any complaint in this regard.
