Police partially demolished the pandal of Bangabir Kader Siddiqui in front of the Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Janata League (BKSJL) office at Motijheel in the city in the early hours of Sunday.
A police team led by Motijheel thana OC removed bamboos, clothes and mikes from the pandal on the 5th day of the sit-in programme.
Kader Siddiqui set up the pandal to stage a nonstop sit-in programme demanding withdrawal of blockade and sitting of two leaders together for discussion since Wednesday, says a press release.
