Kamaruzzaman\\\'s counsel gets certified copy of AD judgment

Counsel for death-row convict Muhammad Kam-aruzzaman received Thursday the certified copy of the full text of the Appellate Division (AD) judgment, reports BSS.

Advocate Shishir Mo-hammad Monir, counsel for Kamaruzzaman, confirmed this to the news agency.

The Appellate Div-ision of the Supreme Court released the full text on February 18. The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 on February 19 issued warrant to execute death sentence of Jamaat's senior assistant secretary general.

The ICT-2 on May 9, 2013 sentenced him to death and the AD on November 3, 2014, upheld the maximum punishment for the Al-Badr leader.
