Kazi Zafar laid to rest in Comilla

COMILLA, Aug 29 (UNB): Jatiya Party (Z) chairman Kazi Zafar Ahmed was laid to eternal rest beside his parents' graves at Cheora village in Chauddagram upazila of the district on Saturday.

Earlier, his namaz-e- janazas were held at central Eidgah of Comilla city, Suhaganj High School ground in Sadar Dakhkhin upazila, Chuaddagram High School ground in Chuaddagram upazila and Cheora High School ground in the same upazila.

Kazi Zafar was also given state honour by the upazila administration on Cheora Begum Faizunnesa High School ground as he was a freedom fighter.

Later, Kazi Jafar was buried beside the graves of his parents at Cheora village around 6:55 pm after his another namaj-e-janaza on Cheora mosque compound.

Jatiya Party (Zafar) general secretary Mostafa Jamal Haider, Feni Awami League MP Nizam Uddin Hazari, Feni municipality mayor Alauddin and leaders and activists of the party and also of Awami League in Comilla joined the janazas.
