Khaleda helps city's poor people

BNP Chairperson and Leader of the Opposit-ion Khaleda Zia distributed blankets and warm clothes among floating poor people in various areas of the capital city Wednesday midnight to protect them from cold, reports UNB.
The BNP chief distributed blankets and winter clothes among poor men, women and children in front of Jonaki Cinema Hall at Naya Paltan at around 1:20am.
Among others, BNP leaders Mirza Abbas, Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Selima Rahman, Shirin Sultana, Mojibur Rahman Sarwar, Wadud Bhuiyan, Elias Ali and Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anie accompanied Khaleda Zia during distribution.
