Khaleda to brief media today

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will meet the press today (Tuesday) to brief about the current political situation and 'growing incidents of extrajudicial killing and human rights violation'.

The press conference will be held at Hotel Westin at 4.00 pm, BNP chief's media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB Monday.

The BNP chief is likely to come up with her party's next course of action at the press conference.

The BNP chairperson last met the media at the same hotel on January 15 to formally express her alliance's observations about the January 5 national election. It was her first press conference after the election.

At the press conference, Khaleda Zia termed the government illegal and urged it hold a fresh election through talks.
