Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said on Saturday the people would serve 'red notice' on BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in the next elections, reports BSS.
"As Khaleda Zia started the 'notice game' by sending a legal notice to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the people of the country will give 'red notice' to Khaleda Zia and her party BNP in the next elections," Mr Nasim, also the Awami League (AL) presidium member, said this while speaking at a memorial meeting organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote at the National Press Club in the city on the occasion of the 6th anniversary of death of Awami League leader Abdur Razzak.

Calling on BNP to join the election fray, Mohammad Nasim said the next elections will be held according to the provision of parliamentary democracy. "Please don't create any controversy over the elections . . . Don't try to leave the election field," to told the BNP.
About the defeat of the AL candidate in the Rangpur City Corporation election, he said, "We have accepted the verdict of the people. We will analyse the reasons for our candidate's debacle and weaknesses in our party forum," he said.
Nasim added that if one is defeated in the election, one should have the mentality to accept this.
The health minister said BNP leaders cannot see any development of the government as they are suffering from 'blindness'. "So, drug should be invented to treat their blindness," he said.
