\\\'Khaleda to go to jail for killing people\\\'

Minister for Shipping Shajahan Khan said on Friday BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will have to go to jail for killing people, reports BSS.

"Nobody in any country could exist by doing terrorism. Queen of terrorism, Begum Zia, returned home after doing terrorism," he said speaking as the chief guest at a discussion organised by BIWTA Employees Union on May Day in the city.

The meeting was also addressed by BIWTA Chairman Commodore M Mozammel Haq and Employees Union Chairman Abdur Razzak, among others. BIWTA Employees Union leader Liaqat Ali presided over the meeting.

The shipping minister said Khaleda Zia wanted to go to power issuing directives to kill people with petrol bombs.

"But nobody can go to power through terrorism. Late Ziaur Rahman, too, could not stay in power for long by creating terrorism," he added.

Referring to the recovery of BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed in India, he said Khaleda Zia had asked him to flee and he did it.
