Khaleda to host Iftar for political leaders today

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will host an Iftar party today (Wednesday) for leaders of different political parties, reports UNB.

The Iftar party will be held at the city's Bashundhara Convention Centre.

Party sources said top leaders of all political parties, including Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, have been invited to the Iftar programme.

On June 24, BNP assistant office secretary Asadul Karim Shaheen on behalf of Khaleda Zia invited Sheikh Hasina by handing over an invitation letter to her Dhanmondi political office staff Alauddin Ahmed.

Besides, Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam and presidium members have also been invited to the Iftar party.

Khaleda hosts an Iftar party in each Ramadan for the country's political leaders.
