BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will exchange greetings with members of the country's Hindu community today (Saturday), marking the Janmashtami, reports UNB.
The programme will be held at her Gulshan political office at around 8:30 pm, her media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told the news agency Friday.
The Hindus will celebrate Janmashtami, a religious festival marking the birth of Lord Sri Krishna, across the country amid festivity and religious fervour tomorrow (Sunday).
The day is a public holiday.
The BNP chief exchanges greetings with the Hindu community every year on the occasion of Janmashtami, Sayrul said.
