\\\'Khaleda wants to turn BD into a terrorist state\\\'

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said Friday BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia wants to turn Bangladesh into a terrorist state, reports BSS.

"We will resist her dream unitedly," he said inaugurating 'Janatar Abhijatra' (people's journey) at the east gate of Bangabandhu Stadium in the city.

The minister, who is also convener of Sramik, Karmachari, Peshajibi, Muktijoddha Samonnoi Parishad, is leading the journey towards North Bengal demanding punishment for Khaleda Zia and others for killing innocent people including drivers, helpers and passengers of buses and trucks with petrol bombs.

Addressing the inaugural rally, Mr Khan said the movement of Sramik, Karmachari, Peshajibi, Muktijoddha Samonnoi Parishad would continue until Khaleda Zia and all others responsible for killings were punished.

He urged all, including workers, employees, professionals and freedom fighters to make the campaign a success.

The minister said a workers' rally will be held at Adamjee on July 10 in protest against the destruction of industries.

After the inauguration at 7 am, the convoy started for the northern region.  Shirin Aktar, MP, labour leaders Osman Ali, ZM Kamrul Anam, M Alauddin Mian, Badruddoza Nizam and Employees' leader M Kamaluddin are taking part in the programme, among others, said an official release.
