Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said in the city Friday that Khaleda Zia would not be spared if the violence and anarchism continue in the name of blockade, reports BSS.

He was addressing a rally of the newly- formed Sramik-Karmachari-Peshajibi-Muktijodha Samonnoy Parishad as its president in front of the Jatiya Press Club (JPC).

"You (Khaleda Zia) are now killing innocent people issuing instructions sitting at your home by calling blockade. You will not be spared if the killing continues," he warned.

"BNP has been resorting to the same barbarism what they did in 2013 by killing people by carrying out bomb and arson attacks.  A total of 58 labour leaders were killed in 2013," he opined.

The minister called upon all the freedom fighters (FFs), students, commoners and the progressive and democratic forces for a united resistance against killing innocent people and violence in the guise of blockade.
