\\\'Khaleda Zia needs to be forced out from politics\\\'

A senior Awami League leader said on Wednesday BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia needs to be forced out from the politics for establishing politics of consensus in the country, reports BSS.

"We need politics of consensus to advance the country towards prosperity. And it is not possible to establish politics of consensus, if Khaleda Zia remains active in politics," Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud said while speaking at a discussion as the chief guest in the city.

Hasan said Khaleda Zia believes in politics of confrontation. "But it is not possible to advance the country with this politics," he said.

Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote organised the discussion on 'contemporary politics' at Shilpakala Academy auditorium.
