Khaleda's Ctg gathering shifted to Mar 29

BNP chairperson and opposition leader Khaleda Zia's public meeting in Chittagong scheduled to be held on March 27 has been deferred to March 29, reports UNB. The March 29 public meeting will be held at Laldighi Maidan in the port city, BNP leader Abul Khaier Bhuiyan, MP told the news agency Wednesday. A few days ago, BNP decided to hold the public meeting at the outer stadium in Chittagong city on March 27.
Khaier said as there are some scheduled Scouts programmes at the venue, the party has shifted the date and venue. Khaleda Zia will embark upon her planned six-divisional party tours from Laldighi Maidan on March 29. She is expected to deliver important remarks on the Chittagong Hill Tracts and Chittagong seaport at the Laldighi meeting. After Chittagong public meeting Khaleda will visit and address public meetings in other divisional headquarters. On completion of her divisional tour, the BNP chairperson will address a grand public meeting in the capital probably before mid-April.
