As the law enforcers continued restricting food supply to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office for the third consecutive day, party leaders and office staff Friday started cooking food on their own inside it for themselves, reports UNB.
They took the initiative after police turned away a van carrying 120 lunch packets and fresh water for them around 1:20pm as the law enforcers did for the last two days since.
The law forcers, however, are not preventing the relatives of Khaleda from supplying cooked food for her.
Police also did not block cooked food brought from the house of BNP vice-chairman Selima Rahman on Friday afternoon who has been accompanying Khaleda at the office since January 3.
BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has been staying in the office along with nearly 50 people, including some BNP leaders, office staff and her personal security personnel.
The party's designated leaders have been sending breakfast, lunch and dinner from different restaurants since January 3 for the BNP leaders and office staff and Khaleda's security personnel staying in the office.
