BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's visit to Ullpara in Sirajganj has been rescheduled for October 11 from the earlier October 10, reports UNB.
The national standing committee meeting of the party recently took the decision that Begum Zia would have addressed a rally of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD).
The rally was scheduled to be organised on the Akber Ali College premises at Ullapara to mark the Shaheed Jihad Day.
Jihad, an activist of JCD, was killed on October 10 in 1990 during the anti-autocracy movement against military ruler Ershad.
A senior BNP leader told the news agency today (Saturday) that the JCD's student rally had been shifted to October 11 as it was learnt that Prime Minister's Adviser HT Imam has a programme on October 10 at the same venue.
