Knife attack injures two BCL men in Chuadanga

CHUADANGA, Jan 26 (UNB): Two Chhatra League (BCL) activists were injured in a knife attack by rivals in Daulatdiyar area of the district town on Friday evening.

The injured were identified as Miraj and Bashir.

Superintendent of Police Mahbubur Rahman said Miraj and Bashir came under the attack while they were chatting at Daulatdiyar with other BCL men around 6pm.

A group of their rivals, numbering 8-10, attacked them and stabbed the duo. They cut Miraj's tendon off, Mahbubur Rahman said.
