The leaders of Democratic Left Alliance had expressed their deep shock over the Wednesday's massacre inside the BDR Headquarters, reports UNB.
"Such mass killing is not expected to anyone," said the leaders at a meeting of its central steering council at Topkhana Road office in the city Sunday.
The leaders of the left leaning democratic political parties also called upon all to remain alert so that any faction or group, misusing the situation, could not hamper the flow of democracy that prevail across the country at present.
Chaired by DLA coordinator and Bangladesh Communist party convener Badrul Alam, the meeting was also attended by Jatiya Ganafront coordinator Tipu Biswas, Bangladesh Revolutionary Workers Party general secretary Saiful Haque and Democratic Revolutionary Party general secretary Mosharefa Mishu.
