Mahabub Ara Begum Gini
Ruling MP Mahabub Ara Begum Gini from Gaibandha-2 constituency was appointed on Tuesday as a whip of the 10th Parliament, report agencies.
"I have been called to join as Whip," Gini told bdnews24.com on Tuesday.
A gazette notification has been published in connection to her appointment, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
A Dhaka University graduate, Gini was elected as an MP for the first time in the 9th Parliament.
