Mahidur, Chutu indicted for war crimes

International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 framed charges Thursday against Mahidur Rahman and Afsar Hossain Chutu of Chapainawabganj in a case for committing crimes against humanity during the Liberation War, reports BSS.
It also fixed January 12 for giving opening statement and recording depositions.
A three-member ICT-2 headed by its chairman Justice Obaidul Hassan passed the order. The tribunal on November 24 took the charges against the duo into cognisance.
