Man to hang for killing father

KHULNA, Jun 22 (UNB):  A court sentenced on Monday a man to death for killing his father in the city in 2010.

The convict was Badrul Hasan ( 35), son of M Hasan Shahidullah of Haji Mohsin Road in Khulna city.

According to the prosecution, when Badurl's father Shahidullah refused to give him money for going abroad, Badrul beat his father with an iron road, leaving him dead on the spot on April 24,2010.

Later, the family members handed over him to police.

The victim's younger son Mehedi Hasan filed a case against Badrul with Sadar thana on the same day.
