Mega looting happening in country: BNP

A spate of recent bank robberies and looting by a group of terrorists in the hilly region is just a reflection of mega looting happening across the country.

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the observation at a press briefing at the party's Nayapaltan headquarters on Thursday.

"The terrorist group in the hill tracts carried out bank robberies and looting seeing unbridled corruption, looting and money laundering from the country," he said.

"The secessionist group has created a haven of terrorist activities in the hilly region due to the subservient foreign policy of the government," maintained Mr Rizvi.
