Mehnaz taken on fresh remand

Detained Khandaker Mehnaz Rashid, the eldest daughter of Lt Col (retd) Khandaker Abdur Rashid, a condemned fugitive in the Bangabandhu murder case, was taken on fresh four-day police remand Friday in the bomb attack case on Awami League (AL) lawmaker Fazle Noor Taposh, reports UNB.
On expiry of a five-day remand, Detective Branch (DB) of Police produced Mehnaz before the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Emdadul Haque at about 12:30pm with a prayer for another 10-day remand for further grilling to find her links with the bomb attack on Barrister Taposh.
