Minister’s call for resisting hostility

Land Minister Shamsur Rahman Sharif urged all conscious people of the country to resist terrorism and hostility being carried out in the name of political movement, reports BSS.
"The nation must be alert about the anti-liberation forces, who destroyed state owned assets, burnt people alive and don't care about education of the children," he said Sunday.
The minister was inaugurating a 3.25 km long electricity line connection at Sujapur village in Akdamra union of Atgharia upazila in Pabna.
Referring to the Language Movement of 1952, 6-point movement of 1966, election of 1970 and Liberation War of 1971, the minister Said, "We had never conducted a movement of killing people by
burning them alive. We never did any movement of killing people of own country."
Sharif said the government is committed to reaching electricity to the doorsteps of all along with mitigating the country's demand for power. He said the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is advancing towards building technology based modern digital Bangladesh.
