Minister Mosharraf falls sick during speech in Manikganj


MANIKGANJ, May 12 (UNB): Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives (LGRD) Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain said on Saturday afraid of the election, BNP is talking about boycotting it.
Khandker Mosharraf Hossain was delivering speech at a public meeting at Ghior College field as the chief guest, halfway through which he suddenly fell sick.
Later his personal staffs gave him some water while a doctor immediately came there and checked his blood pressure and gave him necessary treatment.
Ten minutes later, the minister stood up and finished his speech in short. He later started for Dhaka.
Before falling sick, in his speech he said BNP is afraid of the election and that's why they're talking about boycotting it without getting Khaleda Zia freed.
Mentioning that the national election will be held in the mid of December, the minister said Awami League wants BNP chairperson to participate in the election but it is not in their hand
to free any sentenced
person.
Prior to attending the meeting, he inaugurated some development works in the district.
